I’m sure there’s something in psychology about the concept of creating a thing and then swiftly disassociating from it. Someone somewhere send me an article! Regardless, much of my time digging through old files or updating my website is spent saying, “oh wow, I completely forgot I even did this.” I’ll process that one out in therapy.
The benefit of that is y’all get more art, even while I’m on the road!
These cuties are from the start of the pandemic. Like, the first few weeks, when we all thought that maybe this thing was just gonna be a blip on the radar. I still had the vin and vigor (before sliding into a video game depressive hole) to draw a lot and do full color designs.
Another mason jar! I truly might do a newer series of these, something about them delights me.
I found a picture of these huskies looking fierce and a little Cerebus like forever ago and has to doodle them up.
This is actually the inked sketch that inspired a print of mine! I think opossums are the cutest. Apparently they actually keep tick and flea populations down!
Frogs 4ever, frankly.
There’s just something about Walruses. I bet they would be so rubbery soft to pet. I also bet that would get my properly gouged.
This is one of my earliest skulls. I was just starting to dig into how I liked to show form in just line work.
Lastly, a snail friend! I’ve drawn so many snails in so many different ways, and I’ll never stop…! The world is just filled with so many bizarre creatures and frankly, I love them all.
